Selva Wellness Collective is a BIPOC, Woman, & Queer-Owned holistic group practice located in central Austin off W 6th Street. Our team consists of therapists, a psychiatric nurse, and alternative wellness practitioners offering a comprehensive approach to mental, emotional, and spiritual health. We blend Western, Eastern, and Indigenous philosophies and specialize in trauma-informed care, Gender Affirming Care, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, couples counseling, and more. Position Overview
The Clinical Therapist provides high-quality outpatient mental health services to adolescents, adults, couples and partners, and families. This role offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time engagement, focusing on individual therapy with the option to facilitate couples and partner counseling, group sessions, and specialized workshops. Please note that we do not offer play therapy for children at this time.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Service Delivery: Provide professional virtual and on-site counseling services in strict accordance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Caseload Management: Maintain an agreed-upon weekly average of client sessions (typically 20-25 hours per week for full-time) as outlined in the employment contract.
- Administrative Excellence: Ensure timely completion of all clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments). Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours.
- Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with a client's broader treatment team to ensure a cohesive and supportive wellness plan.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain regular and reliable attendance with prompt, professional communication.
- Collaborative Participation: Engage in biweekly team meetings and clinical consultations. Contribute to the collective's growth through community outreach, networking, continuing education, and events.
- Professional Conduct: Abide by all Texas state laws, HIPAA regulations, and professional codes of ethics.

Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work.
- Licensure: Active provisional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the State of Texas. Please Note: Provisionally licensed clinicians must be actively supervised and within 100 hours of full licensure.
- Clinical Focus: Possession of at least one "niche" area of expertise (e.g. couples and partners, 2SLGBTQ+, trauma, addiction, eating disorders, etc.).
- Flexibility: Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends as agreed upon.
