Couples & Partner Therapy
Reconnect, Repair, Grow - Together
How Couples & Partner Therapy Works
Sessions typically last 50 to 90 minutes, and most of the work is done with all partners present. Occasionally, your therapist may suggest brief 1:1 sessions to better understand each person’s inner experience-always in service of supporting the relationship as a whole.
In the early stages of therapy, you can expect to explore:
how your relationship or marriage began and what it means to each of you
the cultural, familial, and personal histories you both carry
attachment patterns, conflict cycles, and emotional triggers
communication styles and the ways each partner seeks safety
boundaries, agreements, and relational expectations (traditional or non-traditional)
strengths and areas of resilience already present in the relationship
There is no rigid timeline for couples therapy. Together with your therapist, you’ll decide when you’ve reached a place of clarity, connection, regulation, or resolution that feels aligned.
Your therapist will never take sides or weaponize insight. Their role is to create a space where each partner feels seen, validated, and supported-while guiding you toward healthier patterns, shared meaning, and relational healing.
